Call For Submissions
Common Deer Press is looking for new titles to add to our list! We’re looking for middle grade and young adult manuscripts that engage, entertain, educate, or inspire, and submissions are open to all.

Wish List
While we’re open to all kinds of manuscripts for middle grade and young adult audiences, we have a few things we’re particularly eager to see.
For fiction, we’d love to see fantasy, soft sci-fi, contemporary, or thriller/suspense novels or graphic novels especially if they include:
Coming of age narratives
Neurodiverse characters
LGBTQ+ characters
Subversion of popular tropes
For non-fiction we want to see engaging manuscripts that explain or explore any of the following topics:
History
Culture
Sports
Science (especially climate science and health sciences)
Technology
Business/Money management
